ZOOM/SKYPE MAGICIAN – WATCH INCREDIBLE MAGIC WITHOUT LEAVING YOUR HOME

Spending some unplanned time at home? Completed Netflix?

Why not book an Interactive Digital Magic Show online? If you don’t know what that is, don’t worry, neither does anyone else. That’s because it didn’t exist until now.

WHAT HAPPENS

All you need is Zoom or a Skype account. You and your friends gather round your  screens. Popcorn is optional. Maybe a family member joins from abroad. This is not a kids show, but kids above the age of about 8 will enjoy it too, as part of a family group.

Then the show begins. Sure, you can’t actually PICK a card, but you can think of one. Or maybe you think of a word. Any word. Or any number. Or anything at all. Pete not only guesses it, but shows beyond any doubt that he predicted it all before the call even began.

Don’t think that’s possible? Try it and see.

There is visual magic here too, but this is nothing like watching a Youtube video. The magic relates to YOU. You are involved, and, as a result, you are way more invested. Also, it’s live, so you know for a fact that there’s no creative editing going on. What you see is what’s actually happening.

Sounds good, right? Which means you’ll be wondering…

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

This is the best bit. You pay what you want*.

After the show you’ll get an email with a link to a payment site. You simply pay what you can afford, or what you think it’s worth. Anonymously if you wish. It’s up to you. Is it the price of a theatre ticket each? An iTunes movie rental? Less? More? As you will know if you have booked Pete for an event, doing so will normally cost you hundreds if not thousands, depending on the type of event. This however is a much more casual affair (you can keep your slippers on, and Pete doesn’t leave his house). As a result, it costs less. Much less.

Whatever you decide, divide the fee between you and your friends and suddenly it’s a very affordable way to spend an evening.

FAQs

Q: Is this a children’s show?

A: No. It involves mind-reading, technology and sophisticated magic tricks. It’s aimed at adults, and families with older children (8 upwards) will also love it. Younger children may get something from it but it’s really not for them.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: It’s pay-what-you-want, which means exactly what it sounds like it means. You get a payment link after the show. How much you pay is up to you. If you’re looking for guidelines, the average payment is around £40-£50 for a show, but it varies widely. People have paid everything from £15 to £200. You simply pay what you can afford/what you think it’s worth.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR YOUR SKYPE/ZOOM MAGIC SHOW

You need:

  • Zoom on your computer, tablet or phone (computer or tablet is ideal. Skype works well too but seems slightly less reliable).
  • You’ll need to be somewhere that’s not too noisy (the magic is fully interactive).
  • Ideally at least one of you will have an additional smartphone (in addition to the device you are using for the call). This one doesn’t need the Zoom/Skype app – it’s only used for one of the magic tricks
  • A good internet connection
  • Access to an email account so Pete can send you the Zoom invite and payment link

That’s it!

Unsure about whether to go for it? This man literally taught Dumbledore! See what Jude Law had to say, after he approached Pete to teach him magic for his Dumbledore role in Fantastic Beasts 2.
